The Copper Gallery - Centre Screen (From Manchester)

This was a day at the Cooper Art Gallery working with a company called Centre Screen. We were asked lots of questions to help them get an understanding of what apps people/ young adults use on a day-to-day basis. Most people said that they use things like; Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Pintrest, Blogger, Linkin, YouTube, Google, Bing, etc.

Once they gathered this information then went on to ask us more questions about they layout of apps we liked, the colours, the interactions and also how connective the apps we use are. All of these question were to help them to design an app for local or maybe even worldwide galleries for people to use to make them want to visit galleries more and whist there have more fun and be more interactive for people of a wider age range.

After lunch we were given a sheet of A3 paper with a drawing of an blank iPhone and a blank iPad on it. The task they asked us to complete on this sheet was to design the look and layout of the app if we were going to full design it. Most people added cut outs of other app icons like; Facebook, Snapchat, Tumbler, ect. to make the app more connected with other apps.
